About Us

Prior to joining Dawson Law LLP®, Kevin began his professional career in the financial services industry supervising a department for DST Systems, a mutual fund transfer agency in Kansas City, Missouri.  In 1996, Kevin and his partner formed Centralized Showing Service, Inc. (CSS), the first ever scheduling service for the residential real estate industry.  Serving as its Executive Vice President for over twenty years, Kevin grew CSS from 200 users to over 160,000 Realtor subscribers and more than 600 employees.  In 2019, Kevin and his partner sold CSS as the nation’s largest company in its field.  Separate from CSS, Kevin also formed CodeBox, Inc., where he serves as its CEO and Chairman.  CodeBox is a fast-growing key storage lockbox manufacturing company serving the residential real estate, property management, and vacation rental industries.

Drawing from Kevin’s experience in the formation and management of multi-million dollar companies, he’s uniquely positioned to counsel clients on a wide range of business matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, business succession, and related asset and estate planning matters.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys reading history books to his son and sitting on his balcony reading Russian and Spanish language books.  Kevin also dabbles in real estate investment, owning and managing both commercial and residential properties.
